So much to do...So little time

Friday Nathan and I went up to Keokea Park with Malia, Amy and all the kids. We missed you Pili and Denise!!! We all got together because we are leaving for vacation tomorrow. We had a good time we ate pizza, played soccer and my favorite we played Duck, Duck, Goose. It was a little cold so being the paranoid mom I am I made sure Nathan had his jacket on. As you can see his bib too! He drools so much I call him our leaky little faucet. Thanks Landon for the bibs we love them!!!
Nathan loves to have things in his hands so he can suck on them or throw them. When you hold a toy up in front of him his eyes light up and he gets so excited. As you can see below he is really enjoying the sun.
We leave tomorrow for vacation and we can't wait. Packing today and cleaning, doing laundry I hope I have it all complete so we can relax tonight. So before I forget Malia here is the recipe for the pizza crust.

Homemade Pizza Crust

1 1/2 cup warm water
2 TBS. sugar
1 TBS. yeast

let raise for 15 minutes, add dry ingredients

1 tsp. salt
4 cups of flour

let raise 45 minutes, cook at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. ( I don't let it raise I just put it on the cookie sheet and while the oven is heating it heats the bottom of the pan, when the dough is a little warm is spreads out easily)

Yum...Yum...Enjoy!

So I say good bye because Nathan is asleep, I need to change laundry and eat breakfast and complete the long list of things to do.

Pizza Girls

Since our YW President is off island I was in charge of Wednesday Mutual with the Laurel's. We decided to make homemade pizza and watch "Charley". The girls did such and good job it was so good. There was only two girls that made it showing off their pizza is Sala on the left and Brooke on the right, you go girls!
I think that Nathan has found two girl friends, he just snuggled both girls. You can't see but he drooled all over Sala's shirt. Leaven his mark on the girls already.
Of course since we watched "Charley" I cried like a baby, I was even crying after the girls left. Rich is getting used to me crying and he just gave me hug and said it was alright, what a good man. I guess for me the show hits a little harder now that I have a baby and it would be so hard to go through knowing you are going to die and leave your child behind. Anyways can't talk about it anymore or I will just cry again.

P.S. We leave in 6 days, YEAH!!!!!

Water Fall

So to all of you back home with the crappy weather I thought I would send a video of a waterfall. This water fall is called Twin Falls but we are actually going through a drought so it is not running as full as it usually is. If you watch at the mouth of the falls there is a guy that jumps off into the water.

Oh...Adventures

So Tuesday we took Nathan in for his 4 month shots. A little early but we are leaving in 11 days for the mainland. Yes, land as far as the eye can see it sounds to good to be true. Anyways back to Nathan last time he got his shots it took him a week to get back to normal, let me tell you that was a long week. So this time I was not excited about them, Rich made me hold Nathan while the nurse gave him the shots. I didn't cry but it broke my heart when I heard him cry. So I was repaired for another week of not a happy little boy. The first day wasn't to bad things were looking good, and then night time came. Every time Rich or I put Nathan down to sleep he would cry. So half the night he slept in bed with us and the other half we slept on the couch. After that long night I realized it probably was going to be another long week. Well I was wrong by noon on Wednesday he was back to himself, our happy little man. We also started to feed Nathan cereal on Wednesday, he loves it. At first he wasn't to excited about it but now he whimpers ever time I take the spoon from his mouth. It seems like I can't get in there fast enough. It amazes Rich and I so much how fast he is growing and that he is here and ours. We are so blessed to have his sweet spirit in our lives and can't wait until the rest of the family gets to meet him. Love you all!!!!!!!

On the Go.....Hammen it Up!

So Nathan is such a happy baby and such a ham at times. His new trick is puckering his lips out and blowing spit and bubbles. He also lends to have some serious looks on his face.

Nathan is such a good baby and smiles so much it makes you laugh. I don't know what Rich and I ever did without him.

The picture above is of Nathan giving me such a serious look, or more like "Mom not another picture, Dad and I are watching our program!" Nathan loves to look at the T.V. when there are bright colors on, he looks like he is so in tuned with the program that he knows exactly what is going on.

Nathan has become such a little mover, we have to buckle him in his bouncy chair now or he moves down so much his legs are falling off the chair. Also when we put him on the floor his moves around so much that he ends up turning sideways. This morning Rich and I woke up and came to check on him and he was laying sideways in his crib. I can't believe how much he is growing and learning. The video is of him last night talking to mom, but it ended up him moving away from mom. Towards the end of the video you can see his kick his legs on the floor and push away from me. Before we know it he will be crawling and walking and his first words. Which will be "Mama". Sorry Rich I know the truth hurts but he will say "Daddy" next I promise.

Please change my diaper!!

Nathan is such a happy baby, I took these pictures the other day when I went to change his diaper. Again as everyone knows I know exactly what he is thinking, and here he is saying. "Oh please mom change my bum!!". Every day he does something new and he is such a joy. He is growing so fast that most of his PJ's are to short for him they hit him at his knees.
After his bum change is time to hit the sack. A lot of the time he doesn't like to be snuggled when he is trying to sleep. He usually squirms until he is comfortable as you can see is the picture below. He loves his daddy and thinks he is so comfy.

Happy Birthday Leilyn

We went over to Lahaina on Saturday for our friends, daughters birthday! Leilyn turned 3 years old and is so cute. She was so excited to have Nathan sit with her on the blanket.
Daddy and Nathan are little relaxed in this picture, taken a snooze. Man life is hard relaxen on the beach under a tree! Now were is a Mtn. Dew??
After their little nap it was time to stretch and chat!
This is Nathan's first time at the beach and we took him for a little dip in the ocean. The little pool here is perfect for kids, it probably wasn't any deeper that 1 1/2 feet. The water was really warm to so Nathan enjoyed it.
Funny story about his swimmer diaper. I bought them from Wal-Mart and this morning I pulled them out of the package and threw them in the bag. When we got to the beach I pulled them out and they were red with The Little Mermaid on them. Yes, I grabbed girl swimmers, luckily Pili had an extra pair of Koa's she let us have. This one was a little more manly it was blue and had Winnie the Pooh on it.

As you can also see Nathan's hat is still a little big, most of the time it was in his eyes, but his head was protected.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA TOMLINSON

We just wanted to wish Grandpa Tomlinson a Happy Birthday! As you can see Nathan is happy for you! He told me that "Mom grandpa is one year younger, that is so cool!" Rich doesn't believe me when I say that I can totally tell what Nathan is thinking. He actually is thinking that his mommies hair looks a little funny, but I like the other thought better. We love and wish that we could be there to give you hugs but soon we will be.

Nathan also has a message on his shirt for you! As you can see he has his arms open for a big hug when we see you, "Only 26 more days grandpa and you can love on me all you want!!" Again I know what he is thinking. ;)

Tired Boy

So this video is a couple of months old I forgot that we had it Nathan snores a lot like his mom:). He is getting better but I still think that he is taking lessons from his mother. The other cute thing that he does is laugh in his sleep, we haven't been able to catch that on video yet though.

Helicopter

This is a picture of Nathan, Great Grandma Jarvis (Patterson) and I. When grandma was in the hospital we went to see her before they flew her to Oahu. You probably can't see it very well but on Nathan's outfit there is a picture of a helicopter. Grandma was in her helicopter outfit as well, she loved that we had Nathan in an outfit like hers. We are so glad that everything is okay with her. We love and miss you grandma as well as Great Grandpa Larry.

Hi Guys!!!!

Brittney and I were taking pictures of Nathan the other day and just wanted to share some with all of you. As you can see he is not to camera shy, when he sees the camera his eyes light up as if to say "Hi Guys!!!". PS by clicking on the picture it will make it bigger.
