My Boys

Just wanted to share some pictures of the amazing men in my life.  I love them all so much.  Tate is growing so much at 2 weeks he gained 13 ounces and grew 1 inch.  He is now 6 lbs 15 oz.  Nathan is adjusting well to having Tate around.  It melts my heart when he says, "Oh so cute!"  Also when he sings "I am a Child of God" to Tate.  Rich just started harvest on Monday and is starting to get really busy, poor guy has a sinus infection as well but it is getting better.  Me I am just going day by day, some are easier than others.  Lets just say I miss my sleep, but I wouldn't changed anything of it.  I love my boys!!!!

It's a BOY!!!!

We just wanted everyone to know that we had a baby BOY,  He was born August 24th at 10:32 a.m.  He weighed 6 lbs 1 oz. and was 18 1/2 imches long.  2 1/2 lbs smaller amd 2 imches shorter tham Nathan.  We named him Tate Albert Tomlinson.

Family Updates

Nathan News:

Nathan is getting so big and talks none stop.  He is growing so much he weights 36 pounds and is 3 feet and 2 inches tall.  We started potty training about a month ago and he is now 95% potty trained still having a hard time at nights.  Nothing I am worried about.  We love it when he goes potty, he says "Pee Pee Potty" to anyone that will listen and in a high pitched voice.  It is so dang cute.  He has been into volcano's lately and loves to lay in mom and dad's bed and have dad tell him stories about a "Big Volcano".  It is so fun to listen to them, Nathan will repeat the last 2 words of every sentence Rich says, with such awe.  Nathan also loves to copy Rich, whenever Rich is on the phone Nathan is at his feet repeating everything he says, as well as all the actions Rich does.  It is so cute!!!  Nathan loves chocolate milk as many know he calls it "Pshsht" and now adding "Chauky Milk".  He loves going to Nursery and loves to be home.  Anytime we get in the car to go somewhere he always says, "I home."  I am so glad he wants to be home, sometimes drives me nuts but I love it.

Richard & Brittney News:

Rich is staying busy at work.  He works Wednesday thru Saturday.  It is nice having him home for three in a row.  Especially on Monday's because this is when I have all my baby appointments.  We have been going jet skiing with some friends for the past couple of weeks and have loved it.  What a great stress reliever for all of us.  Plus I can't complain about the tan I am getting.  I am 36 weeks and 3 days pregnant, can't wait for the baby to be out and hoping it happens very soon.  I am staying very busy with my calling at church and with Nathan.  Things are almost ready for the baby to come, crib is up and clothes are washed.  Funny part is we don't know what we are having.  At first I hated the idea but I love it know, I don't think we will ever find out with our other children what we are having.  I can't wait for the doctor to say, "It's a ????" 

We hope all is well with everyone and miss all our family and friends!!

Something Old and Green to Something "looking" New and White

So I purchased this desk at the Small Mall for $20 and decided to redue it for our new computer desk. Our other one had its legs broke off in the move from Hawaii.  Yes we did still use it for almost 2 years, it started hurting our backs trying to type on a desk that is 2 feet to short.   

Nasty green white washed desk and brassy hardware.

Put a smoky glaze over the white and added the hardware back on.

Jet Skiing

The past couple of days we have been going out with our friends jet skiing.  We have had so much fun, Nathan has even enjoyed going out.

New Blog

Last week my brother and his family stopped by to stay the night on there way to Camp Zion.  It was so fun to see them and have 6 hyper boys in our home.  We wish they could have stayed longer but glad they stopped by.

Hogle Zoo

At the beginning of July we went to Salt Lake City for a doctor appointment. We normally leave our parents house in the morning and go down and back in one day. This time we decided to go down stay the night and then go to Hogle Zoo. I am so glad that we did, we had so much fun and can't wait to go again. Here are some pictures of our fun trip.

Ultrasound Pictures

So I went in for another ultrasound today and this time we got some really good 3D pictures.  Baby is still small so again in 4 weeks we go in and see the fetal weight.  I will be at 36 weeks so hopefully it continues to grow.  Moved from the 17% to the 3% for femur length so we will see.

This one is a little harder to see but the baby is sucking its thumb.

Memorial Day & 4th of July

Since we were down in Idaho during Memorial Day we were lucky to spend it with some of Rich's family camping.  Thanks to his parents for letting us stay in there camper with them.  The pictures from Memorial Day are at the bottom of the post.  I really don't want to drag them to the top.

Then on the 4th of July weekend we went up for the day with my family camping in Bear Gulch. Then on the 5th of July we spent time with Rich's family at his sisters house in Grant.  It is so fun being around family and we wish that we were closer to spend the time with them.

April's Girls Trip

So every year I get the great pleasure to spend 4 days with Rich's sisters and mom.  We go shopping all weekend long with no kids or husbands.  Let's just say I look forward to this every year, and since we lived in Hawaii I missed out on it for 3 years.  This year we went to Ogden and staid in a condo which is so much better than the hotels we have been staying in, more room and more bathrooms.

Thanks to all our husbands who take the kids every year and let us have our time to shop, shop, shop.  But most of all to just laugh and be girls.

Baby Tomlinson

This 3D picture was taken 2 months ago.  We decided not to find out what we are having.  Well I want to know but Rich doesn't.  We had an agreement that with Nathan we would find out because we were in Hawaii and I wanted to be prepared.  So with the second baby it was decided that it would be a surprise.  I actually am excited about not finding out, a little stressed but excited.  Due to the fact that the aby is due Septemember 8th during harvest. 

Now the ultrasound below is at 28 weeks, which was done yesterday  We were scheduled to have another one because the baby is showing up a little small.  Everything looks really good with baby but still small.  Actually it is only at 17% for growth, but the specialist said that he isn't worried, just that I will probably have a small baby.  Maybe around 6 pounds, which having Nathan be 8lbs 9oz sounds great.  We have another ultrasound scheuled for July 15th just to check everything out again.

We are getting so excited to have this new joy in our life.  I am ready now but I know I need to be patient.  We realize that we have so much to do before the baby comes and we need to get started right now. 

Oh...cute story to tell the other night Nathan was sitting in my lap leaning against my belly.  Well the baby didn't think it was the great and kept kicking Nathan in the back.  Nathan thought it was hilarious and when I would ask, "Did the baby kick you?" he would laugh and say, "Yeah baby kick me!"

Yes we have been out of touch with the world it seems like these past months have been so crazy I promise we will catch everyone up.  Believe me we have had a roller coaster ride.  I also figured out how to get my pictures to show up.  Yeah!!!!!!

Has anyone had this problem. I do not have an icon to post pictures. I am wanting to post so many to show everyone what has been going on. I mean really doens't everyone want to see the damamge on our first day of our girls trip? PLEASE HELP ME!!!
