Moving again!

If everyone didn't already know, we are moving back to the mainland. We are so excited and sad at the same time, we will miss our friends but are looking forward to all the things we have missed. We are moving to Washington State, not for sure which town but hopefully Connell. Trying to find housing over the phone and internet is a pain in the butt, but we are progressing and hopefully find out today if we have a rental in Connell. Rich is already in back in Hawaii and I will be flying back on Monday the 18th. We are not bringing Nathan back due to the short time we will be there. We fly back out to the mainland on the 21st. So he is staying with his aunt's and they are so excited. Well we will miss everyone so much and I can't wait to see you all soon. Only 4 more days honey!!!

Getting ready for the fair!

Tonight we went outside to see all the animals. My brother and sister are getting ready for the fair so we look pictures with the sheep and horse. I don't think Nathan knew what to think when he was on the horse. He looks a little scared, but really he was hungry. Isn't are little man so handsome. My little sister Joni who is 6 said that "Nathan is a chunk of cuteness." He is getting so big and we can't wait to see daddy only 5 days for mom and 9 for Nathan. We love and miss you daddy!

Nathan's new thing is sticking his tongue out. It is so fun to watch when he wakes up in the morning, he smiles and out goes his tongue. In the pictures he is with his Aunt Jenny. Also he loves to have his burp rag in his mouth.

Doesn't he look so handsome and so big?

Favorite Pictures!!

Here are a few of my favorite pictures of our family that I just love. All of them are of us camping. We love it so much and enjoy being around our family. I hope you like them as much as I do.

Rodeo and Football

So we went to the rodeo again Saturday night and it was so much fun. As you can tell by Nathan's smile he liked it. For some reason this is the new smile he has sometimes and I get a kick out of it. I actually took this pictures and figured he wouldn't smile but I was wrong and I love it. Look at his cute little cheeks.

This picture is of my little sister Josey.

Now doesn't Nathan look like a true football player. He loved the helmet and could not stop looking at my little brother when he was in all of his football gear. Watch out boys here I come!!

First Hair Cut

Well Nathan had his first hair cut on Wednesday. When his hair is combed you can't tell that he has about 20, 3 inch hairs on the crown of his head. So Grandma Tomlinson who is a beautician did the honors. It was so much fun seeing him look from side to side wondering what is going on. Here are the pictures from the BIG event.

So much going on!

Well so much has been going on and we fill like somedays all we do is run. Megan I kept checking your blog when you were back in Utah and kept thinking when is she going to update. Yeah now I know you are so busy and with family you don't really think of it.

We have been camping every weekend since we have been back in Idaho and we love it. We have one more camping trip this weekend and then I think we are done for awhile. Can you believe it. I have a tan now that we are back in Idaho, never really got one in Hawaii go figure. Nathan loves being outside and he loves to sit and look at trees, I think they are his new best friend sometimes. He is growing so much and we can't believe how big he is getting. I promise we will post pictures soon.

We are having some milestones and adventures with Nathan which is so much fun and not at the same time. The 2nd week we were here he had a 102 degree temp and the little boy runs which reached to the back of his neck, we took him into the doctor and he had blood in his stool. They ran a bunch of test and everything came back negative which we were thankful for. He was fine within 2 days I think he must of had a touch of the flu or something. Then we had a rude awaking at 2 in the morning, all he would do was scream we had no idea what to do. He did this for 30 min. then he had a fever so after giving his some Tylenol he calmed down, then we noticed that his gums were swollen and yes he is starting to get some teeth. Nothing has broke through yet but we expect it any day. Then today he rolled over it was so awesome the past couple of days he has been trying so hard and today he did it. He is growing so much and thank goodness for my sister-in-law who gave us hand me down baby clothes from her little boy. Nathan is now in 6-9 clothes.

Rich and I both have a sinus infection and the last night of camping this past weekend was not that much fun. We have drugs now and we are doing just fine.

Well we miss everyone in Hawaii and Rich will see you soon. He flies out in 7 days and I am not excited for that. We will write again soon.

P.S. Pili we got the goods in the mail, thanks!

Over the Big Puddle

We made it Idaho safe and sound Nathan slept the whole way on the plane, I wish I could say the same thing for Rich and I. Well we have been just relaxing and having a great time we spent the 4th of July with Rich's family and we had so much fun. Rich received a bruise on his arm the size of a softball from his niece pinching him. I told him not to mess with girls, see you end up getting hurt. I will post pictures soon.

So I felt like I was in heaven the first day we got here. We went into a Super-WalMart and it was awesome. Shelf's full of items anything you need for cheap, oh I loved it!!!!

Rich and I just got back from a trip to Washington and we were so excited to see Nathan. He hung out with Grandpa and Grandma Tomlinson. He looks like he has grown so much and he is giggling now and it is so cute. We will write again soon!!!

Love, Rich Britt and Nate

So much to do...So little time

Friday Nathan and I went up to Keokea Park with Malia, Amy and all the kids. We missed you Pili and Denise!!! We all got together because we are leaving for vacation tomorrow. We had a good time we ate pizza, played soccer and my favorite we played Duck, Duck, Goose. It was a little cold so being the paranoid mom I am I made sure Nathan had his jacket on. As you can see his bib too! He drools so much I call him our leaky little faucet. Thanks Landon for the bibs we love them!!!
Nathan loves to have things in his hands so he can suck on them or throw them. When you hold a toy up in front of him his eyes light up and he gets so excited. As you can see below he is really enjoying the sun.
We leave tomorrow for vacation and we can't wait. Packing today and cleaning, doing laundry I hope I have it all complete so we can relax tonight. So before I forget Malia here is the recipe for the pizza crust.

Homemade Pizza Crust

1 1/2 cup warm water
2 TBS. sugar
1 TBS. yeast

let raise for 15 minutes, add dry ingredients

1 tsp. salt
4 cups of flour

let raise 45 minutes, cook at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. ( I don't let it raise I just put it on the cookie sheet and while the oven is heating it heats the bottom of the pan, when the dough is a little warm is spreads out easily)

Yum...Yum...Enjoy!

So I say good bye because Nathan is asleep, I need to change laundry and eat breakfast and complete the long list of things to do.

Pizza Girls

Since our YW President is off island I was in charge of Wednesday Mutual with the Laurel's. We decided to make homemade pizza and watch "Charley". The girls did such and good job it was so good. There was only two girls that made it showing off their pizza is Sala on the left and Brooke on the right, you go girls!
I think that Nathan has found two girl friends, he just snuggled both girls. You can't see but he drooled all over Sala's shirt. Leaven his mark on the girls already.
Of course since we watched "Charley" I cried like a baby, I was even crying after the girls left. Rich is getting used to me crying and he just gave me hug and said it was alright, what a good man. I guess for me the show hits a little harder now that I have a baby and it would be so hard to go through knowing you are going to die and leave your child behind. Anyways can't talk about it anymore or I will just cry again.

P.S. We leave in 6 days, YEAH!!!!!

Water Fall

So to all of you back home with the crappy weather I thought I would send a video of a waterfall. This water fall is called Twin Falls but we are actually going through a drought so it is not running as full as it usually is. If you watch at the mouth of the falls there is a guy that jumps off into the water.

Oh...Adventures

So Tuesday we took Nathan in for his 4 month shots. A little early but we are leaving in 11 days for the mainland. Yes, land as far as the eye can see it sounds to good to be true. Anyways back to Nathan last time he got his shots it took him a week to get back to normal, let me tell you that was a long week. So this time I was not excited about them, Rich made me hold Nathan while the nurse gave him the shots. I didn't cry but it broke my heart when I heard him cry. So I was repaired for another week of not a happy little boy. The first day wasn't to bad things were looking good, and then night time came. Every time Rich or I put Nathan down to sleep he would cry. So half the night he slept in bed with us and the other half we slept on the couch. After that long night I realized it probably was going to be another long week. Well I was wrong by noon on Wednesday he was back to himself, our happy little man. We also started to feed Nathan cereal on Wednesday, he loves it. At first he wasn't to excited about it but now he whimpers ever time I take the spoon from his mouth. It seems like I can't get in there fast enough. It amazes Rich and I so much how fast he is growing and that he is here and ours. We are so blessed to have his sweet spirit in our lives and can't wait until the rest of the family gets to meet him. Love you all!!!!!!!

On the Go.....Hammen it Up!

So Nathan is such a happy baby and such a ham at times. His new trick is puckering his lips out and blowing spit and bubbles. He also lends to have some serious looks on his face.

Nathan is such a good baby and smiles so much it makes you laugh. I don't know what Rich and I ever did without him.

The picture above is of Nathan giving me such a serious look, or more like "Mom not another picture, Dad and I are watching our program!" Nathan loves to look at the T.V. when there are bright colors on, he looks like he is so in tuned with the program that he knows exactly what is going on.

Nathan has become such a little mover, we have to buckle him in his bouncy chair now or he moves down so much his legs are falling off the chair. Also when we put him on the floor his moves around so much that he ends up turning sideways. This morning Rich and I woke up and came to check on him and he was laying sideways in his crib. I can't believe how much he is growing and learning. The video is of him last night talking to mom, but it ended up him moving away from mom. Towards the end of the video you can see his kick his legs on the floor and push away from me. Before we know it he will be crawling and walking and his first words. Which will be "Mama". Sorry Rich I know the truth hurts but he will say "Daddy" next I promise.
