Just wanted to say hi and tell everyone that we miss the warm weather in Hawaii. HOLY COW I forgot how cold it can get. The other day it was -18 degrees outside and the wind was blowing so who knows how cold it really felt. We are here in Idaho for the holidays and are having so much fun with our family. During the day we are crafting, eating, playing games (Wii which is so fun as well as Guitar Hero), watching movies, playing in the snow. Then at nights waking up every hour with our little man, he is teething and it isn't very much fun for any of us. He already has one tooth and now he is getting another one. When we get back to Washington we will post pictures of our trip and ones from Thanksgiving. Since I haven't written in a long time I will give you a break down of what has been going on:- Nathan standing up against anything he can get his hands on- Nathan walking along furniture- 2 trips to the emergency room for Nathan with a 106 temp (scary but he is okay now)- Spending Thanksgiving with Family in Idaho- Seeing snow for the first time in 3 years, it was beautiful- Remembering that it isn't so fun walking outside while it is snowing and blowing. Brrrr!!- Snot freezing in your nose because it is so cold outside- Pushing people out of the snow when stuck in the middle of the road- Driving down the road sideways because of slick roads- Having to buy snow tires- Having Christmas 1 week early, not wanting to haul all the presents down to Idaho and then back to WashingtonWell again we miss the warm weather in Hawaii! We hope everyone's season is wonderful and filled with joy and love.
Love, Tomlinson's

The Joy in our Life
I have attached a video of Nathan and Rich playing with the tractors. It is so much fun to watch Rich and Nathan play together. He is such a joy in our life and we love him more and more each day. We have been so busy lately doing crafts, talking in church (so glad that is over) getting ready for Thanksgiving and the Tomlinson Christmas Party. Rich just installed an Air Filtration System in his pick-up. After he was done we went for a little drive and it was awesome. We leave next Wednesday for Idaho we are so excited about seeing family but not the long car ride. We can't complain though it is so much cheaper than flying for 6 1/2 hours from Maui to Salt Lake and then driving 4 hours up to Idaho. Nathan is growing so much and he is so much fun. He has such an amazing personality and he makes us laugh so hard. So I have a cute little story about him. I was at my friend Melissa's house the other day working on a craft. I left Nathan inside playing while I went out side to sand my project, it took me about a hour or so. When I got back in Nathan saw me and was so excited. He kept kissing me for 15 minutes, now his kisses include the tongue and slobber so I was a little water logged when he was done. It just melted my heart knowing that he missed me so much. I will post pictures of my crafts and sewing projects soon, I having so much fun doing them. Love to everyone!

HOORAY Harvest is Over!!
Thursday I was able to go up to Hayden to see Bart, Carrie and Megan's Family. Carrie, Megan and I got to do a little shopping in the day, which was so much fun. I can't wait till girls weekend! Then I staid the night at Megan and Tom's while they went out for their anniversary. The kids and I had a little party of our own, we had pizza and watched movies. Aren't they all so darn cute?
My first pumpkin, just my size. Lately Nathan has been sticking his tongue out and we finally caught it on camera!
Now I would have to say this is one of my favorite pictures. I asked Rich what they were doing and he said that as soon as a truck drove by and hit his jack-brake Nathan turned towards the sound. So Rich was telling him about when he used to drive one. Nathan is so alert and aware of so many things around him.
So this is a look at what we have been up to, talk with you soon!

Storms of Life
I don't know how church was for everyone today but I loved Relief Society. Our lesson was on "Stand Fast through the Storms of Life" as probably was everyone's lesson today. We were talking about trials, tribulations, death, and all heartache we go through in life.
Why? I ask all the time do we have to go through this, then I have to remind myself in Helaman 12:3 it says "And thus we see that except the Lord doth his people with many afflictions, yea, except he doth visit them with death and with terror, and with famine and with all manner of pestilence, they will not remember him." So without the hard times in life we wont remember him and learn from our mistakes and become stronger children of God. As we become stronger we will be able to "Stand Fast". This was such an amazing lesson and I know I wouldn't be here without Joseph Smith and the trials he went through. Knowing that he made it through such hard times, makes it easier for me to make through my trails.
Well we love you all and hope your day was as great as ours.

So Much To Say!!
How could you not love this little man? If you can see I was originally taking a picture of his hair because he woke up from a nap and had some pretty wild thing going on.
Nathan is loving to feed himself although he does make a little mess. Since I know what he is thinking I will interpret (tummy full, yep I will smile for you any day, now when is bath time). He is so darn cute!!!So as I posted earlier me going to Project Day. There are a couple mom's in ward that get together every Friday morning and do any project that they might have. I am in the process of making Nathan bumpers for his crib. Nathan was getting frustrated that he couldn't get around like the other kids so I let him place with the measuring tape and he was happy. He seems to the happiest when he has something he isn't suppose to have, go figure!!!! For example tonight I was folding clothes and I went to pt some away and when I came back he was almost sucking on a dryer sheet. I gave him a different toy and took the sheet from him. He looked at me like "How dare you?" and then started to cry. What can you do but laugh!!
This is one of my favorite pictures, 3 generations of Tomlinson's. We love Grandpa Tomlinson so much are so glad that we have Rich and Nathan who get to be just like you.

Moving again!
If everyone didn't already know, we are moving back to the mainland. We are so excited and sad at the same time, we will miss our friends but are looking forward to all the things we have missed. We are moving to Washington State, not for sure which town but hopefully Connell. Trying to find housing over the phone and internet is a pain in the butt, but we are progressing and hopefully find out today if we have a rental in Connell. Rich is already in back in Hawaii and I will be flying back on Monday the 18th. We are not bringing Nathan back due to the short time we will be there. We fly back out to the mainland on the 21st. So he is staying with his aunt's and they are so excited. Well we will miss everyone so much and I can't wait to see you all soon. Only 4 more days honey!!!

Getting ready for the fair!
Tonight we went outside to see all the animals. My brother and sister are getting ready for the fair so we look pictures with the sheep and horse. I don't think Nathan knew what to think when he was on the horse. He looks a little scared, but really he was hungry. Isn't are little man so handsome. My little sister Joni who is 6 said that "Nathan is a chunk of cuteness." He is getting so big and we can't wait to see daddy only 5 days for mom and 9 for Nathan. We love and miss you daddy!

Rodeo and Football
So we went to the rodeo again Saturday night and it was so much fun. As you can tell by Nathan's smile he liked it. For some reason this is the new smile he has sometimes and I get a kick out of it. I actually took this pictures and figured he wouldn't smile but I was wrong and I love it. Look at his cute little cheeks.
This picture is of my little sister Josey.
Now doesn't Nathan look like a true football player. He loved the helmet and could not stop looking at my little brother when he was in all of his football gear. Watch out boys here I come!!
