Visitors and Moses Lake Water Park

Darren, Nathan, and Dax
Last week my brother and his family stopped by to stay the night on there way to Camp Zion.  It was so fun to see them and have 6 hyper boys in our home.  We wish they could have stayed longer but glad they stopped by.
Kristy (sister-in-law), me, and Shaun (brother)

Sorry I look so crazy I have pancake batter all over my tummy.
The thing is just in the way these days.

Nathan at the water park I think he had just as much fun chasing the seagulls as playing in the water.
Running through the splash area, he was having so much fun.
Trying to step on the water and stop it from shooting at him.
We had such a good time and definitely want to go back again.

Hogle Zoo

At the beginning of July we went to Salt Lake City for a doctor appointment. We normally leave our parents house in the morning and go down and back in one day. This time we decided to go down stay the night and then go to Hogle Zoo. I am so glad that we did, we had so much fun and can't wait to go again. Here are some pictures of our fun trip.

Ultrasound Pictures

So I went in for another ultrasound today and this time we got some really good 3D pictures.  Baby is still small so again in 4 weeks we go in and see the fetal weight.  I will be at 36 weeks so hopefully it continues to grow.  Moved from the 17% to the 3% for femur length so we will see.
What a precious little baby!!!!
This one is a little harder to see but the baby is sucking its thumb.
You can see the little finger to the side of the nose.

Hope you enjoy!!!!!

Memorial Day & 4th of July

Since we were down in Idaho during Memorial Day we were lucky to spend it with some of Rich's family camping.  Thanks to his parents for letting us stay in there camper with them.  The pictures from Memorial Day are at the bottom of the post.  I really don't want to drag them to the top.
Then on the 4th of July weekend we went up for the day with my family camping in Bear Gulch. Then on the 5th of July we spent time with Rich's family at his sisters house in Grant.  It is so fun being around family and we wish that we were closer to spend the time with them.
Joni helping Amber with the watermelon, it looks a little heavy for her.
Nathan, Livy, and Josey waving at the camera.  They all love their Aunt Josey.

Nathan playing catch with Daddy and Connor.  I love this picture because he was so happy he started jumping up and down.  I caught it perfect with him off the ground.
Nathan's throwing arm, yes that is his left arm.  I think he is going to be ambidextrous like his dad.
Nathan riding the roping dummy.  He thought it was his cow, not a bull but a cow.
Beautiful pictures of Kilgore, I love this place I wish I could live there.
Sun set coming home from Bear Gulch.  I am pretty impressed this was taken outside the wide going 60 mph.
The guys playing ultimate Frisbee at Rich's sister's house.
Lets just say that the younger kids beat the old men.  I think they all realized they aren't young bucks anymore.
This is of Nathan dancing.  This is his new little jive and I love it.

Camping up at Stoddard with Rich's family during Memorial Weekend.
I love these pictures of Nathan and his "Brainy".

Nathan and Bo eating marshmallow's.

And again Nathan and Bo.

April's Girls Trip

So every year I get the great pleasure to spend 4 days with Rich's sisters and mom.  We go shopping all weekend long with no kids or husbands.  Let's just say I look forward to this every year, and since we lived in Hawaii I missed out on it for 3 years.  This year we went to Ogden and staid in a condo which is so much better than the hotels we have been staying in, more room and more bathrooms.

This was just after the first day.
.
All of us wish our loot, Jenny is taking the picture.
In order to get us all we had to stand on the counter.
Jenny and mom's corn dog.

Carrie and Megan I have way cute sister-in-laws.

Thanks to all our husbands who take the kids every year and let us have our time to shop, shop, shop.  But most of all to just laugh and be girls.

Baby Tomlinson

This 3D picture was taken 2 months ago.  We decided not to find out what we are having.  Well I want to know but Rich doesn't.  We had an agreement that with Nathan we would find out because we were in Hawaii and I wanted to be prepared.  So with the second baby it was decided that it would be a surprise.  I actually am excited about not finding out, a little stressed but excited.  Due to the fact that the aby is due Septemember 8th during harvest.

Now the ultrasound below is at 28 weeks, which was done yesterday  We were scheduled to have another one because the baby is showing up a little small.  Everything looks really good with baby but still small.  Actually it is only at 17% for growth, but the specialist said that he isn't worried, just that I will probably have a small baby.  Maybe around 6 pounds, which having Nathan be 8lbs 9oz sounds great.  We have another ultrasound scheuled for July 15th just to check everything out again.

We are getting so excited to have this new joy in our life.  I am ready now but I know I need to be patient.  We realize that we have so much to do before the baby comes and we need to get started right now.

Oh...cute story to tell the other night Nathan was sitting in my lap leaning against my belly.  Well the baby didn't think it was the great and kept kicking Nathan in the back.  Nathan thought it was hilarious and when I would ask, "Did the baby kick you?" he would laugh and say, "Yeah baby kick me!"

More updates to come soon.  Rich is doing so much better and we are home and happy!

Family!

So a couple of weeks ago Rich's sister and her family came up for their Spring Break, we had so much fun. The pictures are from Palouse Falls, our house and the park. This is fro Kylee! Uncle Rich pulled some muscles trying to get it just right!

Kaleb, Bart, Nathan, Bodie, Carrie, Maggie and I just before
we started our hike down to the falls.

Nathan and Bo watching Dora!

Nathan and Maggie watching their own movies on the DVD player.

Nathan scored with Landon and got him to read to him. Nathan
loved having all the kids around.
We got the kite stuck in the tree. Thanks to Rich and Landon's acrobatic moves they were able to get it down with grace.

Here is the kite when we got it in the air. Rich and boys got a lot of exercise running up and down the field with it. Nathan did as well he thought it was so much fun.

Nathan and I on the swing.

The boys playing some hoops. thanks again Melissa for letting us use the basketball. We also played a good round of "PIG" I almost beat my nephews in the game. My one nephew couldn't believe that I was making some of the shots they thought would be hard. Bo's comment was, "Even my pregnant aunt can make a hook shot." We were so glad to see them go. We loved having them here and can't wait to see them all soon.

Tired of being sick

So when pregnant with Nathan I was sick until week 11. Now with this pregnancy I am sick all the time. Last night I told Rich I am so sick of being sick all the time. He then asked me "I have the munchies what should I have?" I told him "I did earlier and thought I was thirsty instead so I drank some chocolate milk, and guess what?" He quickly stated "Now you fill like crap!" Yes I do one night it is milk, then its bread, or cheese, or an orange that make me sick. Seriously it is driving me crazy. I am convinced that we are having a girl! She can't make up her mind. Well time will tell, we aren't finding out what we are having, it's going to be a surprise. Not by my choice but I told Rich we could not find out.

Birthday Party

So we opened presents for Nathan the day after his birthday! I know mean mom but that way it was the weekend and we had more time. Rich and I both contributed to Nathan's cake, not the fanciest thing but we liked it and Nathan loved it.All he wanted to do was look at it never touched it. He blew the candles out in one blow. We were pretty impressed I guess his wish will come true! This is Nathan opening his present from Grandpa (PaPa), and Grandma (MaMa) Tomlinson. He loved the truck and loads all his cars in the trailer. Sorry not a great picture but he loves it, even more than his train we got him. This is just a picture of Nathan and Daddy Sunday evening having a milk shake. I loved watching Nathan look at Rich when it would get clogged with Reese's chunks, it was as if he was saying, "Ummmm..... excuse me can you clean my straw out!" Then after Rich would clean the straw Nathan would say, "Mmm!"

Two Years Old

We can't believe it our little boy is two years old today.
It just seems like yesterday he was born. For anyone that doesn't know
Nathan was born in Hawaii and then we moved back to the mainland when he was 6 months.
What a precious little man! At first we weren't sure on what to name him. So for the first 24 hours all the nurses called him Joesph, I'm thinking because he was the hali (white) baby there; the rest were HawaiianNow our little man is so grown up, this is Rich and Nathan swinging at the park. Nathan loves to be outside and gets kind of ticked when he has to come in. Since the weather has been so nice this past week we have been going on walks. So when Nathan see's Rich pull in he goes to the stroller and says, "Ride"
Nathan thinking he is so big to swing by himself.

Oh how I love this little man! He is talking so much right now and loves to sing. His favorite songs are: Old McDonald or better known as "EIEI-OOO", Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (he can sing it by himself", Child's Prayer.

He loves to say "Help Me" when trying to get off the bed, and anytime he takes a big bit of food he looks at you and says, "BIG BITE, Mmmmm!" Also he says "Pshsht" this means that he wants to have Chocolate Milk.

Anyway just wanted to say we love you Nathan and are so happy you are in our lives.

Love, Daddy and Mommy
